New Vinyl Warped

If you re in a rush you can quickly fix a warped vinyl record using an oven.

Taking it out and you felt that prick in your heart looking at a warped vinyl. I was talking about surface noise before usually on clear coloured picture disc vinyl. Short of buying a replacement of your prized vinyl record there really is not an easy and quick way to ease that pain you felt of looking at a warped or bend record on your hands. I seem to remember in the 80s they were like wet paper and warped easily.

Las warped new vinyl i purchased was the re master of led zeppelin iii about 20 records ago. It came in a special box set so shipping this whole thing back again seems useless as i guess that all the records sound like that. As mentioned above a brand new vinyl record is less often the culprit of playback skipping though it is not unheard of. But you won t like the answer.

It doesn t affect the sound or anything but this weekend i spent like 100 on records and at least 2 of them are warped. A lot of the new vinyl i ve bought recently is warped. I m still relatively new to vinyl as well but buying vinyl in stores is a lot better. When buying vinyl back in the 70 s 80 s a warped record was rare not anymore. Let s run through some checks to see if the vinyl might be at fault.

Buying new is not always an option either. At least it s not warped yay they weren t. Production mistakes though exceedingly rare can cause a vinyl record to become warped.
